ABET accreditation

I had a question, Universities generally don't go for an ABET Accreditation for their graduate programs. Why is it so??

Why do you need ABET accreditation or who will ask for it? No one ask for it during job or for anything else.

when I say Univ I limit my word to univ offering Technology in Masters

who said univ don't go for ABET. Every reputed University in US holds ABET accreditation.
