  • I-20 Expires June 15th, Entering USA on June 1st, Is it safe to Travel?

I'm graduating on May 23rd but my I-20 is expiring on June 15th. So, if I go back to my country for 1week and come back to US on June 1st, do you think would there be a problem at the port of the entry?

I dont think it would be any problem unless you go past June 15th..Get the travel signature from your college before leaving

That's a risk that only you are able to determine whether you want to take it or not. The agents at the port of entry might or might not let you in. It's no secret that they have the final word on that matter whether you have all you need in good standing to get in (or not)... Good luck

Recently I visited India, and I came back on Jan 1st, and my visa end date was Jan 15. Apart from the travel signature from the university, I was having my extended I20. I think just visa is not enough (or it might be a risk) to come back if it's expiring in one or two weeks, you might need a document supporting your stay such as extended I20 (as in my case) or some other documents
