why is it not sufficient just to have it in newsfeed? Cause u know, so many ppl post in this fb page, i will get 10s of notifications

Good question, For some reason, facebook doesn't promote posts to 100% of our fans which means it is selectively posting some of our posts to some of our fans. If you check 'Get Notifications' from our page - You will get notifications only when we post not from people commenting on our posts hence you will not get 10s - Anyways, if you feel you are getting too many updates, you can uncheck 'Get Notifications' any time.
