MBA with concentration in MIS- What would be the career prospects?

Hi am a regular follower of your community, you guys are doing great job really appreciate it, I need a career help.

I am done with 1 year general MBA from AACSB accredited university, now time to select concentration and decided to go with MIS ( Management Information System ). According to recent updates from USCIS, MIS has been added to STEM list. Hence 17 months OPT extension !! I have 18 months of work experience in IT Enabled Services. So how's the career graph for MIS ?

Hi,i dont think MIS was added to the list of STEM extension,its Computer and Information Sciences.

R u sure u hav got 18 month STEM Extension? Because it falls under the Business degree which has only 12 months of OPT. I fall under the same category and my school has informed me that I can only get 12 months of OPT

I also think that you only get 12 month opt with a MIS degree.

IF its possible could you cite the source where u got this information from. I am doing MIS as well and i have no information what so ever about this change.
