F1 visa and DV lottery

Hello,
This is a question just out of curiosity. Is it common for a student on an F1 Visa to win the DV lottery? Have you heard of cases like this? I know they're eligible to apply for that, but I've never heard someone to win the lottery. I hope the randomization selection is still a criteria
