    Thesis or Non-Thesis, Do it matter for finding a job ? Pls help me making a decision

    Hey guys I am doing my masters in mechanical engineering . I was wondering if I should do masters with thesis or non thesis. Would it really matter in finding a job in US? I am confused and it is time I make a decision . Anyone with some valuable inputs , kindly help me in making this decision. Thank you.

    it doesnt matter whether you do a masters thesis or do projects then and there but I think you should do one of them atleast.

      If you think you have enough experiences to be able to get job, dont worry about thesis, however, if you dont have any other experiences, you should do thesis one, that way you will have something to put on resume

        Employers are looking for specific job skill which is the basis for getting h1 visa which is a skill based visa. By doing a thesis in masters you definitely have a better edge to get a job.

          I would say thesis , but it really "guarantee" or "help" u in finding a job... On the other hand non- thesis you might as well take a couple f extra courses n learn a few extra skills like a software package or a programming language !!

            Go for master thesis if you don't have any industrial experience, but from what I have been advised, you need to be careful with choice of thesis work. You don't want to get involved in an area where industries have low demand on or do not see as a benefit to their work.

              You never know what the future holds. you may not be able to find a job in which case you would need to register for PhD. so it is better to do thesis option so that you may apply for PhD.

                The only difference that I found was that in non thesis u ll end up taking one extra course and a lessen a couple of hours of research credits . Do you think it makes a major difference ??

                  If you're planning for ur domain job then go for thesis else go for the easiest one
