confusion on dec/may graduation

Iam currently a graduate student in university of cincinnati i have the option of graduating this december or in may. iam thinking of learning a few courses before graduating in may rather than graduate in december and learn courses after graduation and waste couple of opt months.
Iam really confused about this . please help me
