I din't get through the lottery this year. My company is trying to post me in Canada for a year and will either apply H1B next year or will bring me on L1 visa. I am getting married by the end of this year and my OPT expires in February. I will have to take my spouse with me to Canada. I have heard getting dependent visas for the spouse is a hard task. But if I tell the immigration officer that I will stay in Canada just for a year, would you guys think I will be able to take my spouse into Canada. Or can you suggest me some options please.
