Need help applying for a Green Card

Hi,

First of all thank you for helping Indian students all around the United States with their concerns. I have a question too and like some suggestions. I got married last week and my wife is a US citizen. I am currently on F1-OPT which expires in September.

1. My question is I would like to apply for a Green Card thru family, should I do it with the help of an immigration lawyer or is it an easy process and do it myself?

2. If my Green Card is in process, do I still need to apply for an OPT extension or is it considered in status?

3. Are there any recommendations for legit immigration lawyers around Seattle area?

Find a Lawyer.. Apply OPT extension too.. You can stay during change of status but why take the risk..
