Hi Admin, your job site is very helpful in clarifying many doubts that international students like me have.
I am having a problem with renewing my license here in Louisiana State. My situation is like this: I am on OPT and my H1b visa AD/RP is in processing. My CAP GAP I-20 starts from June 11th to Sept 30th. So, my proof of legal stay in US is my Cap Gap I-20 which is valid for less than 180 days. In order to renew my license in Louisiana, my Cap Gap I-20 is not useful as I need atleast 180 days of validity on my I-20. My license is going to expire on May 20th, and I cannot renew it. Please suggest if you know any solutions.
