Mother visiting USA -Visa Rejected in 1st attempt..Please Help!!!

Hi All,
Iam currently a student and I am on my F1. Iam here in USA since August,2014.I want my mom to visit me in the intersession holidays. When she attended the consulate at hyderabad, her visa got rejected in her first attempt. it was only said to her that "Your daughter just went to USA". May be that was the reason for her rejection. Also, they asked her to reapply.
Other thing is, my father works in Saudi Arabia and it was only my mom who applied for visa but not my dad.

Is it okay to apply again in hyderabad? My consultancy suggested to apply in Chennai. which among them is good for tourist applicants.
In how many days can she re-apply? Please suggest me.

She can reapply immediately if she has new evidence or documents to show. If she just recently applied and they said it was too early, then reapplying quickly will not help, even at a different consulate. Best suggestion would be to wait for a few more months and have your mother try to visit you for the summer holidays.

the chance of getting visa is more in chennai than in hyderabad as an example my friend applied for one univ in hyd 2 times where it got rejected and he got approved for the same in chennai

She can apply. But what one would suggest is to make her to apply the Visa on basis of seeing place. Not just mere visit.

Issuance of visa is under the sole discretion of Visa Officer. Nothing is for sure. You need to prove your ties with home country and have proper documentation and reasoning.

Hyd would be little bit risky .. Consider applying in Chennai if your mom alone is applying for visa.. If both of your parents wants to apply for B2 hyd is good .. I have seen many cases where just one of the parents applying and getting rejected due to some or the other reason in hyd..
