Correction of Misspelled Name on US visa

Hi Guys,

I have recently entered US as a F1 student. After entering US i have realized that my name on my US visa is wrongly spelled. But my name on my passport is correct. Now that i am in US can you please help me to resolve this issue.

It's really surprising to me that how u cleared immigration without checking the visa name. I would recommend you to contact the respective consulate by phone as they don't respond you very quickly by email!

I have less knowledge how state dpt work but I can say contact the consulate where you get that visa .. u can email them or call them .. you will get correct answer ..

Hi only a letter in my last name was misspelled. I think it was a typo....can any one provide me info how to deal with this????
