What deductions can i claim on my tax witholdings ?

I am on F-1 and doing a part time internship while still at school under CPT. what deductions can i claim on my tax witholdings ? I have heard there is some treaty between india and us that allows for indian students to deduct extra deductions. can you help please ? Thanks for this wonderful initiative that you are running for us students!

Any Indian Student on F-1 in US can claim standard deduction on the tax return if it is beneficial to him, this is not allowed for non-residents from other countries

Being non alien residents, can F-1 students claim taxes on their tution fee? Will that have a negative impact on H-1 or GC process?
