PhD-->Masters-->PhD, Is it safe to Travel?

    it is RISK...since you switched from PHD to MASTERS and then going back to PHD..this is not to scare you but just want to make you cautious.

    If you are going out of the country, you should inform your university and they will give you another I20.

  • PhD-->Masters-->PhD, Is it safe to Travel?

    I was in a PhD program but I am converting to a Masters as I am appting for PhD in another US university next Fall. But my present I20 is valid till 2016.So before my masters graduation (expected around dec 2013) and till I receive my acceptance from the new university can I travel to India with my present I20 that is valid till 2016, although I have converted into a Maters. I hope I am not sounding confusing.. It would be great if I could get any help on this ... Thanks much!
