it is RISK...since you switched from PHD to MASTERS and then going back to PHD..this is not to scare you but just want to make you cautious. -

PhD-->Masters-->PhD, Is it safe to Travel?
I was in a PhD program but I am converting to a Masters as I am appting for PhD in another US university next Fall. But my present I20 is valid till 2016.So before my masters graduation (expected around dec 2013) and till I receive my acceptance from the new university can I travel to India with my present I20 that is valid till 2016, although I have converted into a Maters. I hope I am not sounding confusing.. It would be great if I could get any help on this ... Thanks much!
