Hello friends,
My OPT started on June 21st 2012 and got a RFE when applied for extension. The RFE states that I need to submit complete employment history from June 21, 2102 through Dec. 31st including the name of each employer, dates of employment, title of position, description of job duties, hours worked per week and salary, copies of pay stubs or pay summaries.
I was working for employer 'X' from June 21st to August 27th, 2012. It was unpaid (kind of training) and thus have no paystubs.
I switched to employer 'Y' and worked from August 27th 2012 to December 11th 2012. It was unpaid (kind of training) too and have no paystubs.
Right now, I am working for employer 'Z' from December 11th 2012 till now and have all pay stubs.
I have submitted all employer letters to DSO.
Now my question is Can I be under unpaid employment in OPT for so long? If yes, What should I include while replying to RFE. Please someone reply in detail what should be there in the employer letter to show it is unpaid internship. A sample letter could be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
