OPT extension-employment in non-everified company

    One of the mandatory things for OPT extension....E-verify. Company should definitely be e-verified. Else sure its gonna be denied.

    I don't think you can get it from a non e-verified company.

    Yeah, if they have somebody on staff working with any kind of foreign approved paperwork, they have to call USCIS to install it. Its free and it gives the firm a higver status so its beneficial for them as well.

    U can ask the company to enroll in everify.. Its easy and free..

  • OPT extension-employment in non-everified company

    I have a question regarding OPT extension.I

    am a STEM student, currently employed part-time in a start-up firm and the company is willing to extend my contract through to next year. My current F1-OPT status expires in Feb 2014 and I would like to get an extension. however, this firm is a very small start-up and is not e-verified.
    Is there any way for me to get an extension quoting employment in a non-e-verified company?
