Any other MIS programs offered under STEM degree?

Hi,I'm going for my masters degree to Eastern Michigan Univ for MIS program. I joined for this program because of its course work and it comes under STEM degree.But one of my friend was telling me that the degree wouldnt come under STEM and I cannot extend my OPT for 17 more months.
Can you give me a clarity on my situation and what are the MIS programs that would be offered under STEM degree??

Yes EMU's MIS program will not come under STEM.

MIS in some univ comes under OPT with 12 months

Go with CIP codes and check by yourself then cross check with your university.
