Hi guys, I need one information, I will be graduating in the month of Aug10. My OPT start date range is from Aug10 to Oct8. I am planning to start my Sep 29th. Could you please recommend me a date ? I am also trying to go to India, as the market will be not good until Jan. Is it safe to go to india after joining a consultancy because the market will be not that good? Will i be facing any problem if i return back to US?

1. September is ok to start your opt
2. If it is a must to go to your home country, go ahead else its better to wait until u get a job and survive for half an year in the current project and take a vacation to go to your home country -

I have exactly the same case as yours. Travelling is defiantly a risky thing .Market might be slow in November-December but staying in the states and trying is a better option than going to India and taking a break for a long time. You might get a job mean while if u stay here. Just a friendly suggestion !Comment

plan as late as you can .. sep 20> are gud ranges as you will have another chance for h1b under 60 day grace period cap gap rule ..Comment
