Question from VLSI student: IT career that doesn't involve heavy coding

I am a student on F1- OPT. I have VLSI background and trying to find a Employers in VLSI domain or IT domain(but not as a Developer or Database admin). Is there a field in IT/software closely related to hardware and which doesn't involve heavy coding.
