Hi,
I am graduating this July with masters degree in Agronomy & Soils (agricultural) but I am interested in jobs related to SAS programing. I learned SAS during masters and just got the base certification which SAS provides. Couple of consultancy services are willing to hire me as SAS programmer and have promised that they can get me OPT/OPT extension but I am bit skeptical. Is possible that I can work in field which is not related to the major field of my degree? Is it possible for the consultancy groups to get an OPT/OPT extension for me (Which they have promised) while working in unrelated field (Since most of them are unreliable)?
