opt dropped after 10 months, didnot get opt, still in intial review.

Hi,

I dropped my opt application after 10 months as I did not get the card even now, its still in intial review,
Do I need to go for reinstatement to transfer my sevis to other university or direct sevis transfer works?
I need some suggestions.

How did this happen. Do you have any idea why? Posting more details like school, when u applied, etc cud help us help u

I would Suggest call the office and tell them to connect u to a higher official and talk with them. They will surely find out what is going on with your application for the past 10 months.

Did you get any info on the follow up call to USCIS?

Calling the office directly should help. If u still haven't graduated, it is possible that they might be processing applications of students who have earlier OPT start dates

I had to call them for 2 weeks straight ...sometimes they are missing some document and they don't notify the applicant.
