Status tracking of OPT application

Hello Everyone,

Is there a way to track OPT application status other than from: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do? My OPT application status has been on "Initial Review" for the past 60 days. Is such a long delay common?

Yes, it might take upto 90 days. My OPT status was "Initial Review" till 80 days..

HI.. Actually i have number of question's to raise on this timeline. my ambition is to work as an professionally IT job in USA. Already i have completed my MS in computer science in UK and working as QA engineer since 8 months. So i am planning to come USA on study visa. Question one is in how many months course going to be complete i would like to go any course which is related to IT department? question two how many modules has to complete to work through OPT as a Software employee? Please Let me know bit briefly?

If u call them, they will buy more time saying please wait for 180 days as we are doing back ground check and they will clearly state kindly do not call before that
