On my initial submission of the form I-983, the International Advisor of my school stated that the my consulting company (ie. my employer, and under whom I'm a W2 contractor) cannot complete my Training Plan, and that it should be completed by my Client company.
Accordingly, I notified the manager of my client company to complete the training plan, but after talking to HR and the Legal Team he mentioned that since I'm an employee of the consulting firm, it is solely their responsibility to complete the form.
Because of this I wasn't able to update my Training Plan with my Client information, pertaining to Site Name and Site Address (on Section 5 of Form I-983).
I'll be going to school again tomorrow to explain this situation to my International Advisor. At present, at best I can say that my manager collaborated with my consulting firm to complete the Student Responsibilities, Goals etc of the training plan. But if my International Advisor insists on getting the Training Plan completed by my Client company, what steps should I take? Please advice and Thanks.
I would also like to mention that my consulting company is an E-verified and US Based Staffing Agency, and has offered OPT extension to employees before
