Can I change to a new job after applying for OPT extension.

Hello Everyone,

I sent my OPT extension packet to USCIS 15 days back.My i983 form was signed by an employer. Now I got an full time opportunity. Can I update my status now ? Will there be an any problem with my OPT extension when it is under process?

You can change. You will need a new I983 completed and signed by new employer within 10 days from the day you start the job. Send that to USCIS with clear reference to existing pending case. Dont forget to get new I-20.
