OPT Update to DSO

Hello,

I am currently on initial OPT and I recently got a job in California through my employer. But my employer is in texas. I reported to the DSO and mentioned like i am working at client location(California) but there is no change in employment. Now univ is asking me to provide client information along with supervisor details.
1. Is it creates any problem for the STEM if I update to the univ that i am working at the client location ?
2. For Supervisor details, Can i give my employer details with client company name ?
What should i do ?? Please help me

No issues.. u can provide that u r working at client location. If in your i983 form , u already mentioned that site location as client address then no worries to submit client letter for your DSO

Even if you are in initial opt, it doesn't matters.. as long as your authorization n control is under your employer, u can work any where. FYI in your extension period also the same Bonafide employee employer relationship rule applies. most of the stem opt guys got RFEs on this and got approved if they provided this letter along with client letter
