17 month opt ext

Hello,

I have applied and got approved for the 17-month opt-ext. So, can i apply for the remaining 7 months to make it 24 months. If i can when i apply for it?

Nope now everyone should apply the 24 month extension in first place , the 7 month extension is not applicable now it is given previously to who has 150 days valid opt by may 10 2016

The deadline for additional 7 months of opt was till August 08, 2016. Now you can't apply for it.

You can apply for the 7 months provided you have 5 months of OPT remaning..
