Stem OpT extension applied.

Hi All,

Recently I applied for my stem opt extension (Nov 2016) with my employer A.
After applied Opt extension, i got a job offer with a new employer B to join on DEc 2016.
If I change to Employer B while my opt extension was on processing, will i get an RFE.

My intial opt is valid till Jan 2017.

I heared that we can notify to dso with in 10 days if we change employer on stem opt extension.
But now still i am on my inital OPT.
Should i have to inform them about new employer now OR After approving the EAD can i submit my new employer details with starting date as Dec.

I think its not just stem opt, you have to let your school know of your status during your regular 12 months opt too.

I think you have to report in stem extension ,That is mandatory.
But while in initial opt,I dont think so

You need to inform the DSO about any change of employer at any time. That has been the rule since you started on OPT last year.
If you change jobs, Employer B must also be enrolled in E-Verify and Employer B needs to fill out the Form I-983 and you need to give it to the DSO.
