OPT validity for 2 years

Is there anyone who got their opt validity for 2 years? I'm having the same issue. Its not the extension either. Can anyone feed me with some info on it plz?

I got my opt very recently. The start date was from October 2016. And the end date which is given on the card is october 2018. So 2 years of OPT and this is not the extension.

If your application was for the regular post-completion OPT, it is clearly an error. You need to contact USCIS so they can send you a corrected card. Even if the mistake is USCIS’s, it’s your responsibility to inform them and have it corrected.
