Holding Multiple Jobs in Stem OPT

Hello,

In OPT,I have worked for company A for 40 hours and company B for more than 20 hours.Both are E-verified and related to my field of study. I have worked for multiple companies only after getting proper confirmation from university.Now it's time for me to apply for Stem OPT extension, and I have approached my DSO to see if I can continue my employment in two companies during STEM OPT phase.They said "As long as you are working for E-verified company in your field of study for more than 20 hours for each employer ,you should be fine.Additionally I was asked to file multiple I-983 forms one for each". Can anyone please let me know/tag if some one did this before and their STEM OPT extension got successfully approved?.

As per my understanding during initial opt, you can't work more than 40 hours a week. So it's 20 minimum and 40 maximum. But I am not a 100 percent sure. Check with your dso.

Opt candidates can work for multiple employers but only upto 40 hrs in total per week.. 20+20...10+30...please speak to someone who is good at these..

You can work more than 40 hours on OPT, not a problem. It is problem sometime with CPT
