Travel and re entry to US

Hi all ,

My OPT has been expired on July 7th. And my extension has been denied on sep 30th.My sevis is completed. I am going to join in a new program on 21st Oct. I need to travel and reenter to US. I wanted to know when is the late date to travel and reenter to US. Will San Antonio is safe place to cross the border and reenter to US. Thanks in advance..

If you are not changing your status, There is no need to leave and reenter US as far as i know !

U have 33 days from the date of denial to re-enter on a new sevis i.e November 2, but u ll need ur sevis activated before oct 21st to attend school. Good luck!

Because i applied after the opt expiry date.

What is dfw.

thinking to Motion to reopen the case so that i can stay till dec 8th and then cross the border and re enter.
