opt ead card typographical error

hiii,
I am sindhu . i got my opt ead card but there was a minor typographical error. so i called uscis and they asked me to send the opt ead card back with supporting documents , so i did send it back to the address provided in the mail . After that there was no response from uscis its been a month. i called them and they were like it is a waiting process mam so you need to wait. can any one tell me how long does it take and how to check my status . like do i need to check with the same receipt number or will that change? guys please help me out .Also my opt started on sep 13th .i m little worried .

The same happened to me..It took about two months to get the card.you can use the same receipt number..You can work on your opt..no issue with that..

Same here.. sent back the original card.. it has been a month already..no response yet from uscis.. status on my receipt number hasn't changed. Do I need to wait?

If its more than 45 days,you can ask for a status check where they will check your status as of that day and reply you back in 48 days with the most updated one..They will send an email..and frankly after status check I got the card in 10 days.

It usually takes the same time it takes for the OPT to get approved, happened with me too.

It usually takes very long time ... Same happened to me almost after 70 plus days I got the new card .. ..

Typographical Error on EAD Card
Hi..
Please post your experience.

I received my EAD card today, it has a typographical error.I spoke with USCIS they said to submit EAD card and supporting documents (Letters states that error made by USCIS). Anyone had the same issue like this.

I have 3 Question regarding this

1.To which address do we need to send our documents and how long this would take to process?
2.Is there any problem to submit like this?
3.If new card issued USCIS number and other numbers on the card will be same or not?
