7-month extension case pending from June.

I have applied for 7-month extension in first week of June (Phoenix -> Potamac). I haven't received any approval or RFE. It has been more than 90 days.
Did anyone receive approvals? Is anyone in same situation.

Can I continue to work after my current 17 month extension expires, while my 7-month extension application is in pending status.

Firstly, inform your DSO about this and call up the USCIS service center and say that your application is out of normal processing time and they will expedite it.

You can continue to work upto 180 days incase your OPT expires. see below and refer the link.

If you file your extension application on time and your OPT period expires while your extension application is pending, USCIS will extend your employment authorization for 180 days.

Please inform DSO about the expiration of OPT and get a confirmation from him once too ( email confirmation would be the best).

I received my approval for the extra 7 months last week. If your case has exceed 90 days, you should contact the customer service about it.
