Applied twice to OPT Extension, Didn't get my receipt number, need help.

I have applied for OPT Extension on April 13th and I did not receive my receipt number till May 30th, so I called the USCIS, they said, they did not have any documents in their system. But the money order got funded to their account. Anyway I have applied again on May 31st, I did not get my receipt number yet, how long do I need to wait to get my receipt number ? what happpens if I willnot receive my receipt number again ? MY OPT is going to end on JULY 9th ? Did anybody faced this situation, Please let me know ?

Hey, I had the same situation I sent my documents to them on April 17 and I dint received my receipt number. I called them, they say they have nothing in their database " it seems packet dint reach them". I said I have a proof my documents reached to you and my opt ending soon. I Escalated the case and opened a ticket with to find my documents and they provide you with a temperory receipt number. You are safe to work for 180days if you have that.

how does the MONEY ORDER get funded but documents are not there?????? Does some guy intentionally dispose of some applications???
