My opt expired on june 2016 applied. Filled form i983 with my employer and applied for 24 month opt extension with the expectation. But my school provided me only 17 month i20 and told me that will get rfe for 24 month in future. Hence applied 17 month opt extension.
Unfortunately out of job on july but already have i983 for filled. Till date have no job and no pay roll running. As my school said got rfe on august.
And as i have already filled my i983 i have responded rfe with my job
In this case what will happen will my opt extension will approve or not. What might happen next. I have not mention to my school that i dont have job, but they said if my opt gets reject, will have 30 days to make decision.. ... Either to join school again.
