Will my OPT get approved or denied?Please help,,

Hi guys,
I Need some info here, My regular opt end date is on July 4th and I have applied for extension, my college has issued my I20 on July 1st and I immediately mailed it to USCIS. But that week was a long weekend and the packet was received by USCIS on 5th July instead of 4h, it got delayed by one day. I am really worried whether they would consider it or not. Please tell me if they would approve or deny my OPT.

unfortunatly there are chances of denial. The packet should reach uscis on or before the end date of opt

Technically speaking it is not their responsibility to worry about holidays or long weekends. It is our's. Hence, it may get denied. I am not sure what are the chances of them considering it.

I think uscis increased the limit from 30 days to 60 days with new rules. Please check the new rules, if they are applicable to opt / stem opt
