Licence Expired - need to Renew in NJ

Hello,

My Licence expired last month and was not able to renew due to pending STEM ext approval.
Mean while had move to NJ for my new contract. Will I be able to get the new license without
taking test again?

I am in a similar situation but showed my i20 and they approved my licence for 2 years with latest i20 and they told me that I need not take drive test , it implies for those whose licence has expired for more than an year they need to take a drive test too this is in Minnesota don't know if it is the same in NJ.....

In Florida I was able to renew it using just the receipt letter...I don't know if NJ dmv will allow it
