Stem Opt Extension..no diploma card

Hello

I graduated in Aug 2015 but unfortunately my Gpa was low and i had to retake the course to meet my GPA requirements. Now i am in OPT status and completed my course for this summer 2016 and graduated. i should now apply for OPT extention in order to do that i have to fill students information in I983 form where i need to mention my degree awarded date.

Now graduate studies said that i cant get my diploma card until december so my question is what should i mention degree awarded date on I983 form and i had to send copy of my diploma also to uscis and i cant get it until december so how should i slove this.

Please give me your valuable suggestions regarding this issue

I983 form is only for your school. Leave the section blank and take a new 24 month I20 from school.
Send a copy of your official transcript to USCIS which reflects your course work is completed along with all other necessary docs. you should be good to get the extension approval.
