Worried about OPT card arrival

I applied for the OPT on jul 22, it was received at USCIS on jul 25. But I just got the receipt now(aug 23) and it says application received on aug 12.
my opt start date i had choosen was oct 1. Now assuming they take 90 days to process the application from the received date- aug 12, does that mean that my opt start date will be shifted to nov 12(90 days from aug 12) or will it continue to start on oct 1 which was the date I had opted?
