Failed to report the job within 90 days of OPT

My OPT started on 28th of April, I started doing unpaid internship from 1st of June till now. However, I never knew that I had to report within 90 days to the international office about the job. So they entered the info about the job on 10th of August. Will there be any complications in the future if I get sponsorship to apply for h1b? And when they entered info into Sevis they didnt say that my status was terminated, so that means I am ok, right? Did anyone face the same problem? Please, advise me — feeling frustrated.

You are already out of status.. you had to inform your university about your job. Hire attorny.. your h1b will not accept

You are fine, h-1 petition and status in the USA are 2 different things, even in future, if there is an rfe regarding status maintainance on OPT., The change of status will only be rejected , you have to go to home country, get stamping and then come back

That means you failed to maintain status.You have a grace period of 60 after 90days of unemployment period to leave the United States.
