OPT card misplaced!

Hi,

USCIS mailed my OPT card at my previous house. My room-mate re-mailed it to me by USPS Priority Mail Envelope (with no tracking number).
Its been more than 14 business day, I haven't received it. What do I do? Please help !!

PS: USCIS doesn't reissue the card

If you have your scanned copy, you are in better position. Else, you have to apply your OPT right from scratch...and pay 380$ for no reason...but if you have a copy, you can use alien number to start working, but most of them also ask to show card....

Call them and explain the issue, maybe they can help. This is crazy to mail such important documents without even a tracking number. Remember, next time mail with certified mail only!

USPS sometimes takes more tym than wht yu can think of.. I sent a package to India which was delivered in 17 days.. So, jst keep looking..

You should never mailed to ur house if u have roommates. Should have mailed it to your international students office.
