Hi All,
I'm a doctoral student and doing my full time CPT at a reputable company (CPT started in my 3rd year after all classwork-basically in research phase as a part of my degree plan). A while ago, the company informed me that they wanted to continue with me so I applied for OPT ASAP in July- Graduating next week.
I called USCIS 2 days ago and told them the situation along with possible financial loss to individual (also company is paying a major portion of my health - I must have regular doctor visits for a health condition etc etc)...So make the long story short, they sent me an email and said that "in order to grant this request, we will need following evidences..."
Does everybody get this "send us additional evidence.."message when they try to expedite the process or do some people get rejections right away? What are my chances?
