7-Months Extension not filed by employer

Hi guys,

I am currently on 17- Months STEM(Ending Feb 2017) and my employer was not willing to file my i-983 because of the new rules, i couldn't find any employer in time to do so(August 8th filing deadline). i want to continue working till h1-b next year.

Can you please suggest my options? im kind of panicking right now!!!!!.
