Requesting I20 while OPT STEM Extension is pending

Hello all,

I really need help and suggestion guys. I applied for my OPT STEM Extension based on MS from university A and the case is pending with USCIS. I got Ph.D admission from university B. To get the I20, I need to transfer my SEVIS from university A to B. In this situation, where my STEM Extension is pending, can I request for SEVIS transfer and get new I20 from university B? If no, what can I do to get I20?

I need to request I20 before the deadline for this Fall 2016 from university B. Your advises are much appreciated.

Yes, you need School B to process a new I-20 for you so you can start in the fall.
