STEM OPT application pending. Offer from a Medical Hospital to manage their website and other technical stuff.

Hello all,

My STEM-OPT (Extension) application is pending. They received my application on the May 22nd and the application is still shown as received. I got laid off in my current job two weeks ago (June 12th 2016). Now, I have an offer from a hospital as an employee who will maintain their website, mainran their application system . My major is Computer Science. My prospective employers participate in the everify program.
The question I wanted to ask is: I will be the lone employee working on their Computer related infrastructure. Will this be allowed under STEM-OPT(extension) rules.

Yes, as long as it is computers related you should be fine

No, you will need a manager to overlook your progress and your employer needs to prove you are not displacing any American worker. That's a little hard to prove if you are the sole employee in the department.

No worries bro, unless and until you are doing everything legal. If the employer hires u directly it's ok unless he terminates or offers position of some other American. Don't worry everything will be ok
