  • My OPT-EAD card was lost by USPS in mail.

    Hello Everyone,

USCIS mailed my EAD card on June 16, 2016.Days are passed but I didn't receive my card. I created service request for the new card On July 18,2016 and I got a mail from them in which they provided me with tracking number. I tracked my package using tracking number, it shows my package has reached Kansas City, MO on June 17, 2016 and it is in the transit to the destination. I contacted USPS to figure out where my package is, they notified me they have lost my package. When I contacted USCIS and explained my situation, They asked me to wait till August 9 as I created service request. I did no wrong. I have to blame USPS.

This is my situation and I am not getting proper help from USCIS Customer Representative. I request everyone to suggest me how to overcome this situation.
I thank you all in advance.

    Thanks.

My wife is facing the exact same issue. Her EAD was approved on July 13 and the card was sent out the same day. Starting the 14th
the package has been stuck in Kansas city, MO and in spite of contacting the USPS repeatedly, there hasn't been any updates in the tracking system. Do you have any updates since posting this here?

I have the same situation I moved out of my old apartment on sept 15 and given address change request to USICS and USPS immediately. inspite of my change of address USCIS sent my EAD card on sept 30 to my old adress. I did contact new residents but by the time they might have treated it as junk and they say they did't find any of my mails. finally I lost my EAD card.
I know this is a bizar situation but I couldn't do any thing.
