>90 Day since USCIS application received

Hi,
I was wondering how common is it for applications to take longer than the 90 day period to be processed by USCIS. I told my employer that my start date should be around the 90 day mark from when my application was received. I am now on day 81 and have heard nothing from USCIS as in terms of its progress. I rang on day 75 and they told me that opening in a case to look into it would take 15-30 days which doesn't really help me.

I went to the University of Texas and am from the EU, I don't know if that makes any difference in the processing time. Would really like to give my employer some kind of information as it seems to be very difficult to get any from the USCIS.

Please look at the processing time based on your location and it will give a rough idea on how long it will take...
Keeping an eye on dates will help you just in case if they missed you case as it did in my wife's case....

Don't worry..everything will be fine.. It doesn't depend on your nationality. Place an expediting request and it's quite common for application to go pending above 90 day mark
