am in initial 12 months opt started on JAN-2016 and expires on JAN-2017. currently am working under 'X' company which has two sister companies 'Y' and 'Z'. I got two paychecks on june-22-2016 and july-8-2016 . By mistake payroll team generated first pay check under 'Y' company. i notified them so ,immediately they changed second pay stub to 'X' but facing some problem while changing first paystub which is under 'Y' , instead they issued HR letter stated that companies X,Y and Z are under same roof by mistake they generated my first paycheck under 'Y'. i want to know how it will effect my OPT Extension and what are the additional documents need to take from company. Please give your valuable suggestion to get rid of this issue. thanks in advance.
