I currently finished Masters in X college in MIS concentration. Later my DSO mentioned that the degree doesn't come under STEM in which I have only 12 months of OPT. What are my consequences now If my OPT Expires? It's gonna expire by the end of January 2017. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

If you determine you are not eligible, then once your OPT ends, you will have 60 days of grace, and then you will need to either leave the U.S., join another school to continue your F-1 status (before your OPT expires), or switch to another valid nonimmigrant status.
