OPT travel and F-1 Expiring

Hello,

My 12 month OPT ends on june 2017 but my F-1 visa expires in December as I got 3 year visa, I am thinking to travel to India before my visa expires and return back to United states within Visa validity period, When is the best time to travel in next few months? Also, If I travel to India after December, I need to get new visa to return back, what are my chances to get a visa re-stamping. Thanks in Advance.

No new visa is needed till you have a valid stamp... 30 days period and proper documentation should suffice your travel... Good luck
