OPT EAD - Expiry date is incorrect

I have applied for OPT EAD and my application is approved but the card I received has incorrect expiry date (start date was correct). My I-20 has correct OPT completion date but USCIS assigned me wrong date. So I informed the USCIS to correct the date. The raised the request to get my EAD corrected and here is the timeline of my case.
May 31st 2016 - I received my EAD for OPT
June 3rd 2016 - I called USCIS and informed them about the expiry date error. The error was on USCIS side so the representative registered my request under expedite request and asked to wait for an email/mail from USCIS to provide further instruction
June 7th 2016 - I received an email from USCIS, asking me to return my original EAD along with the supporting documents and a letter explaining the error. My application was processed at Potomac center but USCIS asked me to return the EAD to Nebraska service center. Dont know why..!!!
June 7th 2016 - I returned my documents via USPS
June 9th 2016 - USPS tracking shows that my package has been delivered.

Till then I have not received any update from USCIS. Not even an acknowledgement of my documents' delivery. On 17th June, I called USCIS to get the update but the officer asked me to wait till 7th July (30 day period after the notice issued). I have a job offer in my hand and my start date is 27th June.

Will I get any update on my case status history(when we check the status on USCIS website) and how long will it take to get the correct EAD card back?

Did u check on their website? google opt tracker and enter your card number there. It should pop an update.

When I check the status on uscis website, it shows " my card has been delivered to me on 31st May" but that message is for the wrong ead.
After that I have raised the correction request(3rd june)and returned my ead(7th june) but there is no status udpate on portal.

I had same issue. Send them my EAD back. They got it August 12th. Still no updates.

I got my card after about 2 months. I heard nothing from them in this period. Hang in there you will get it soon.

UPDATE: Just got fixed EAD card today. So it took more than 3 month.
